Description of 🔊 Dali Oberon 1 Dark Walnut Bookshelf Speakers - Pair

The driver materials, crossover design and geometry applied in the OBERON series has been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern. The rounded edges and rustic fabric of these new DALI front grilles add a lighter and more contemporary visual look to the OBERON series. The OBERON woofer features a wood fibre cone with a blend of fine grain paper pulp, reinforced with wood fibres, which creates a stiff, light-weight and well-behaving structure. In combination with a low-loss surround and spider suspension, this cone reproduces the micro details in the signal - unfiltered and with high accuracy. The iron pole piece of the OBERON woofer magnet is crowned by a patented SMC disk - minimizing the negative effects of the iron.

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

I took it as a gift for the New Year :) I hung it in the kitchen, which is why they are good speakers that can be hung on the wall using the existing eyelets. I listen with an old Onkyo, I replaced the tweeters from the Sony music center with them - the difference is audible to the naked ear😂 It was especially cool to listen when I replaced only one speaker and turned it on for the test :) The meaning of the operation immediately became clear👍 Yes, it’s important, I bought new ones on ebay…

Pros
  • Sound quality
Cons
  • Price

Marketers certainly tried. I compare these speakers with similar ones from the previous DALI Zensor series. The design is concise and strict, but the execution of grills with rounded corners and gray burlap colors is not for everybody. New out of the box does not sound, only after warming up. In the tests they write that they are quite bassy . did not notice. The workmanship did not get better in comparison with Zensor, rather, on the contrary, inside the shameful sentipon mats are glued…

Pros
  • Interesting design. Good sound.
Cons
  • The price is clearly too high

Small (relatively), modest, restrained in appearance, but there are very serious trump cards in their sleeves, you can not look for something better for this price, it simply does not exist. The very case when you immediately understand out of the box - a good purchase (on the market for 29 you managed to - in general a gift). For many, these are not the last / only columns, but they are the ones that will divide your music into “before” and “after”. I repeat - for most mortals they will be…

Pros
  • Oh yes, this is the same Dali sound. Paired with the Denon PMA-600, the best stereo system that will last most music lovers for a long time, may even spur on audiophilia, for sure - you will want to leave this couple of party-goers, maybe you can even convey to children)) the sound is a gun, does not strain, does not “monitor”, does not live in speakers - "goes on stage", the main thing is to turn up the volume knob, do not be shy, let them breathe! It's worth it!
Cons
  • Are you laughing? There are none))) this message does not concern audiophiles, p by 😂

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

I think they are comparable to them if only KEF q150 . Its pros: The most valuable thing is the SOUND! Detailed, correct, without tonal distortions, airy and concrete at the same time. And they are just warming up! Yes, inside is quite a budget crossover, which I will try to upgrade. But even with him they play well. The body is surprisingly heavy for such modest dimensions. There is a sentipon inside. For a small room 12-16 m2 - that's it! On racks, and high, 70-80 cm, so that they are at ear…

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I compared them while listening (well, Oberon3, to be exact) with B&W 607 and KEF Q150. Tolley turned on the wrong music for me, but I expected much more, the sound in the cabin was not surprising, well, oberon sounded, in my opinion, better. Because was aiming to buy took them. When I turned it on at home, already oberon 1, I liked the sound right away, a bunch with a Yamaha R-N500, dali wires for 150r / running meter. The sound, for me, is just a buzz. Very happy with the purchase. Power…

Pros
  • Sound
Cons
  • I would like grills with magnets, there are too many bolts and holes on the front panel.

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I have been using it for about 6 months in conjunction with Powernode N330 - BW 608 subwoofer and these shelf speakers. I like the sound. There is a desire to place them in a room in a more tactically advantageous position. Now I am hatching plans on how to incite a soulmate to rearrange / buy furniture in a room according to Feng Shui 😜 With its pros. When buying, I had an idea how Dali sounded, so without falling into audiophile throwing, I can simply advise you to go / go to the nearest…

Great sounding speakers at a modest price

After a short pause they really sing. No high-frequency distortion from a 100-watt amplifier. Great for vinyl installation in a medium sized room or smaller (I have them in an 18x20 foot room and there are a lot of them)

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other sets

Very smooth sounding speakers

I did not purchase these speakers from Revain. I have them in ash black and am writing this review after over 2 weeks of use. The build quality is excellent and they were well packaged. The reason I abandoned my previous Definitive Promonitor 1000 speaker setup was that the Deftech sounded bright to my ears and was better suited to movies. I wanted good, smooth sound for stereo and movies, so I went with the Dali Oberon1. As mentioned by Dali, they also sound straight out of the box before the…

Very good, but less airy than I prefer

The Dali Oberon 1 has a very good, very pleasant sound that you can listen to for a long time. Purchased based on home office reviews with an Anthem MRX 310 receiver I had on hand and an SVS SB1000 subwoofer. The benchmark for sound for me is my main system, a pair of vintage Yamaha NS-1000 speakers with a Yamaha MX-1 amplifier and two SVS SB2000 subwoofers. This system produces a very open, airy and transparent sound that I like. My goal was to get the same sound for a lot less money and take…
