Great product. good for me

Cameras work well with my system. Changed out lesser quality cameras with these and image quality far better.Motion so much better also.

Hikvision Renown Quality

If you are looking for a 4k 8mp POE camera you cannot go wrong with this one. This is the cheapest version in the lineup but with all the great features. Theres a reason commercial companies and governments use Hikvision.

Hidden Gem! - my new review

I was looking for an alternative option to a camera that fell on the pavement from 25 feet up. Online setup is simple, I recommend downloading the current software online and upgrading the firmware for the smoothest installation. The only complication was learning to marry the camera to the branded NVR I had in place. Once over that hill, the image is perfect and the camera is SOLID.

Surprisingly good camera

I have had one for only 10 days but this camera is so much better than all of my other 5 Hikvision cameras that I wish they were all acusense. This is replacing a DS-2CD2383G0-I that kept triggering of tree and cloud shadows. I have a DS-7616NI-I2/16P NVR. This camera not only solved my shadow trigger issue, it also increased my regions from 1 to 4 and added Region entry, Region Exiting and Sudden Scene Change to my list of Smart Analysis options. Hikvision without the name

Arrived in good packaging and on-time. Very easy to install and the one nut adjusting was a breeze. Good clear picture and night vision is good with no ghosting. It is an oem camera so no hikvision logo but it is a hikvision camera with hikvision firmware. Have not tried to upgrade firmware. Very good motion recording. I'll update if I have any issues.

Can now setup with Chrome/Chromium, don't need that lame ActiveX control!

I'd give it 5 starts if it shipped with DHCP enabled instead of a fixed address. Makes it much more difficult to setup than it should be unless your router happens to be on the subnet they chose and the IP address they picked is free.Image quality seems at least as good as other UHD cams I have access to, but I've not yet mounted it outdoors so put an asterisk after this comment.Another reason for not getting 5-starts is while it claims Onvif comparability its disabled by default. Work great until it rained

Well this "UltraHD 4K 8MP Outdoor PoE IP Security Camera OEM DS-2CD2085FWD-I" camera worked well. until I got a decent rain. then it decided to quit. So much for it being weatherproof/weathersealed. Not happy. 2nd time one of these outdoor cameras (though a different model but same style/OEM) quit working from rain/weather.

I haven't been able to get this to work with my GW 8 teribite system. Why can't all poe equipment work together? That's my feedback.

Good but no support

The camera is a NO NAME version of a major brand camera. So the build is good. But keep in mind firmware will be hard to find. If you are a consumer skip this camera its not for you. If you are an installer. You should already know what you are in for. Good camera, Good res, hard setup, and life should be 1-2 years.

Item is not DS-2CD2385FWD-I, it is a generic version which for me caused issues adding it into Milestone XProtect, should be advertised differently.
