I love this product! I used a silver one that had to be pressed by hand, which caused a lot of pain in my hands and fingers. It has a knob that you turn. The handle falls to the other side when turning, making it easier to start the next turn. Great idea! I bought a drill adapter so the drill does most of the work. Of course, squeezing (shaping) the clay requires some muscle effort, so even if you're using a drill, you'll still need hand strength when the drill nears its end to keep the entire machine from spinning. I hope that one day they will come out with an all-electric extruder; no hand needed. But until that happens, I need this. It comes with a white rubber ring that can be used to push the barrel through, removing all the clay. It also comes with 20 discs, so there's no limit to your creativity. I am very satisfied with this product! If you need an extruder, I recommend getting this one!
