I've wanted a digital thermometer for the kitchen for a long time. I like that it has two probes that can be used. One is designed to be inserted directly into the meat (like a grill) to ensure the center of the meat has reached an acceptable temperature. The second is a probe that is inserted into the meat to remain in it while it's in the oven. Both sensors appear to be very accurate. Using this thermometer is very intuitive. The thermometer turns on when you unfold the probe or insert the oven probe. It's easy to turn on the light to read the screen. It's also easy to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit based on your preference. The thermometer turns off when the probe is folded back or the outer probe is removed. There's also an alarm that can be set to reach your preferred temperature, e.g. B. when someone is making candy and needs to come to a soft crack. or a hard cracking phase, or if someone has been using a solar oven and needed to see specific temperatures for the solar oven. This thermometer is well suited for both purposes. Finally, inside the thermometer is a magnet that allows it to be hung on the fridge for easy access. It was a delightful and unexpected surprise. Overall I can't find anything I don't like about this thermometer. Can't comment on durability as I just received it, but I hope it will last a while. Although I received this item in exchange for a review, I am very happy with this item and find it reliable. buy if I paid for it myself.
