This product appears to be well made and serves its purpose well. I use mine for a small security monitor. Since there is no way to screw it to the back of the monitor I used strong epoxy and it worked great. Be sure to let it dry for a full day before applying much weight or pressure. The top mounting plate is a bit small, so I attached the bottom plate (which has the most surface area) to the monitor and the top (or smaller) plate to the monitor. Wooden base with two screws. This is a light to light to medium weight product. I wouldn't use it for anything over a few pounds if subject to severe vibration or warping like in a car. It is easily adjustable and has a large range of motion.
