The overall structure of the device consists of a fan on top and a filter on the bottom. The fan draws in air from below and blows it out again from above after it has passed the filter. I can't tell for sure if the air gauge is working, but mine is blue. There are two white sponges on the bottom screw cap (photo 3) to add the essential oil to, so I really like it. The device is bigger than I thought it would be, but it's quieter than I expected. At maximum speed, a video is attached. Overall I'd say it's a pretty decent piece and I really like the look.
