To be clear, this is a great tool. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you don't like finger grooves, don't buy a wrench with finger grooves. Love the finish and the fact that they are all metal with no rubber grip which makes cleaning easier. That being said, AN fittings are incredibly easy to round because they are mostly aluminum. It is therefore advisable to work them with a tool made of the same material. The ring spanner is very versatile and thus saves weight and the number of different tools. The problem lies in the design of most modern adjustable wrenches, particularly in the adjustment. The threads are too wide and sag a bit. In addition, they often do not stay tight and have to be readjusted during operation. Keep that in mind when using this tool. I always prefer a wrench to a wrench if there is one.
