works exactly as described hence 5 stars. However, the instructions in the box are NULL. Not only that, it was difficult to find an installation video as nobody else seemed to be using this cable which doesn't need to be cut etc. I plugged in my M9 fuse which was the only open one for it to get into. Other videos and such recommend the M7, but my fuses have overtaken this slot. This adapter plugs directly into both LED halos. Couldn't have been happier with the result but finding instructions was a big problem. I don't know about fuses, fuses or how to hook up headlights to work with DRLs if your car doesn't have DRLs. I watched a few videos to learn the basics but ended up just hooking up everything I already knew, then using an M9 fuse socket, zip tying up the extra wiring, the DRLs, the remote and the Dipped beam checked. Everything looks great.
