Just a small background. The old router I replaced is a TP-Link AC1750, I have a two story 2000 sqft house. 9 devices are regularly active in the network, sometimes several more. I first bought a Linksys AC 3200. After all the upgrades, it didn't impress me. This router was worse than my old one, turning off random devices like it was stuck on its device priority. I'm not sure, but I had to undo this after a few days of testing after changing the settings. Then I found this grid, looked and compared it, but kept coming back to this one. I thought maybe I'll come back if that doesn't work either. So why not order I guess. I'm glad I tried. Much better than my old TP-Link. I have coverage in spaces that didn't exist before, including the garage. I went with a router + two nodes. This would explain the amazing coverage as my house is about half of the maximum stated in the specs. I could go with a router + probably a single node, but for a few bucks more I have killer coverage. Installation was a breeze. After plugging in the router (main unit), it only took a few minutes to start using the app and I was ready to connect the nodes. They were already paired so all I had to do was plug them in and everything was fine. None of the devices went offline in the few weeks we've been using them. The signal is perfect throughout the house and in the garage. The seller is excellent, delivery is fast. Until the router went down. Literally the best result
