Review on Tarantool by Darth Calder
Useful in production environment - best open source relational DB I've worked with
It's very fast, works well out of box for our needs without any customization required. The query language used by tarantool can be complex compared to other databases but it has great support through online help & forums. We use this database as an internal RDBMS at my work place we are also using some external apps which talk directly into Tarantool DBs like Kafka etc., so its one stop shop from application development point view too. This was simple enough to implement for us internally though there could have been more documentation around how things should behave when multiple applications try writing/reading off same db object. Also would love if they provide additional API layer over existing drivers. Internal RDSM for customer tracking and management across several organizations.

- Documentation available in many languages including English (not just Russian)
- Good tooling options such that you don't need much coding experience or expertise even within your team members who may not know programming concepts yet still able deploy their ideas quickly!
- Complexity involved is high especially due complexity introduced because different DB objects do read write operations together simultaneously hence making queries complicated sometimes
