The brackets that go into the seat post and the rods that fit into the cylindrical bushings that hold the surfboard are tightened with Allen screws no matter how tight you tighten the screws. it loosens up when my kids ride bikes. This can result in the surfboard hitting the rear tire or worse the ground and the bike falling. This is a security issue. I already tried to send it back but missed the package return window. Our family surfs here in Santa Cruz, California, so we weren't just weirdos, this thing doesn't work, it's dangerous.
