Review on Cuisinart DFP 14BCNY Processor Brushed Stainless by Jason Wesley

This is my third Cuisinart stand mixer since 1994; I've always relied on my Cuisinarts (I'm a former caterer) for various purposes, couldn't imagine cooking without them and was thrilled to get the new model. I am incredibly disappointed and have decided to throw away this poor quality product. Each time I use it, at least 1/3 cup of any mixture remains under the blade and only the ingredients around the outer edge are properly mixed, so I end up pouring out the contents and mixing by hand. The recycled lid's latches won't clean no matter what I try, leaving food residue and making this unit dangerously unsanitary. It's too late for a refund, so I'm looking for another food processor manufacturer. Done with Cuisinart!
