Review on Infinity Kappa 62 11I 6 5 Inch Speakers by John Benjamin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Powerful, clean, balanced. Honda Ridgeline 2011

I'm not a music lover. I've been driving cars with barebones audio systems for years. I then bought a car with a factory Harmon Kardon system and was amazed at how good the car sounded. When the car was smashed, I tried to play the audio. Super clear vocals backed by punchy bass that I enjoy not having the car next to me. After many reviews I bought it. This purchase was driven in part by the shallow installation depth available in 1st generation Honda combline doors. They fit without disturbing windows. I backed them up with a weak amp: Kenwood KAC-M3004 because I wasn't sure if my main unit could deliver their potential. I also added a small 8 inch active subwoofer: Rockville RW8CA. I don't know if a subwoofer is needed, but it supports the speakers. For songs with heavier bass lines like hip hop, electronic music, reggae etc. Finally when installed on the G1 rim I added dash tweeters: Alpine SPS-110TW They really help to change the soundstage in the car and get the vocals right If you want to improve the sound in your spine, start with these tweeters and see if you can change them enough. If not, build door speakers. Finally, if necessary, make a subwoofer. I'm writing this review almost 2 years after installing them and they still work amazingly and driving friends often comment on how good the system sounds over a wide range of music. I would say I'm about 85-90% of the way to the factory Harmonn Kardon system and am very happy with the result. I will buy these speakers for future cars. .
