3 month old bulb suddenly fell apart and almost caught fire
We had only been using the bulbs for 3 months when we noticed a burning/electrical smell and then the light stopped working. We removed the reflector cover and found that the bulb was only hanging by one wire and the other wire was bare and not connected to the fixture. When I contacted the company I was told they would not replace a blown bulb as it died over 60 days after purchase. A lightbulb used just once or twice a week for an hour or less should last more than 3 months. And we're lucky it didn't start a fire in my shop.
