I think this will work fine.
I've only been using the cream for a few days so it's too early to tell if it's effective (in my infinite wisdom I've been kneeling on very hot boards with very hot nails and basically branding the tips my feet). All the marks healed so thought I'd try that. So far I like that it doesn't have a noticeable smell and isn't too runny or too difficult to apply. My skin takes it well and I haven't had any terrible breakouts or anything like that. I will post about the performance later.
