I installed this kit on a 2016 Q50 Red Sport. The installation itself was pretty easy. It slides perfectly between the panels for a neat, clean look. The problem arose when I found that one LED module would not suffice if you have anything other than very fine strips, so I had to install two modules on one of the 6ft reels. It looks very good, but there are some nuances. First, the LED modules are not compatible. I have a light dimmer than the others. Second, there are virtually no instructions on what to do. You're good at fishing in the dark, but if you have the basics it shouldn't be too difficult. Third, and the quirk I hate the most is the tape they put on the modules. You have to use it a bit to secure the modules as well as the cable in places where it won't fit between the inner panels, but the problem is that it won't stick to anything other than hard plastic. Not too leather, not too soft-touch materials, not too smooth plastic. The only place it sticks is in rough cheap plastic. However, if you ignore the included tape and buy a real 3m roll of double sided tape, that helps. It's not perfect, but definitely better than the included tape. And finally the application. All in all, it's a decent app and does what it's designed to do. My only disappointment was that this thing doesn't have a vibration sensor. So if you want it to flash to music, you'll need to upload the song to the app and play it from there. But overall a good set. Would definitely buy it again to try on other cars because it's so much better than other crap. Oh, and unlike other reviews, you can program the light to illuminate a specific color and brightness when you turn it on. Just use the app and set the current scheme when you start the scheme. ;)
