Review on ZVOX AV257 TV Soundbar With AccuVoice Technology And 12 Levels Of Sound Enhancement - Wall Mountable Home Speaker With Alphanumeric Display For Crystal Clear Dialogue, Perfect TV Sound System by Marcus Freeman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No miracle.but it helps.

1/24/22 Update.I was able to find some setting combinations that made further improvement in dialogue for us. The best I've found so far is AccuVoice Sup 2 with a slight reduction in treble. As result I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars. And I have to say the ZVOX makes our TV time a lot more enjoyable. The improvement in dialogue for us is moderate but still significant. We've had it in use for three weeks and I'm still trying various settings. Should I find more improvement, I'll bump my rating up another star. My worst gripe is the remote. It's not unusual to get unexpected results with the remote. It is used to do so many things with just a few buttons. Complicating the problem is the brief instructions for its use. And a couple of the instructions are just flat incorrect. I think probably the remote has been updated but not the instructions. NOTE: If you are setting it up to use with your DISH remote, the instructions on the ZVOX website are worthless. You can do it all from DISH Settings: Remote Control, Auxilliary Device, Audio Amplifier, Pairing Wizard, select ZVOX from list. You then need to go back to the remote control menu and scroll down to Volume and Mute Buttons, and select Control Auxiliary Devices' Volume. You should be good to go.

Pros
  • As expected good quality easy to setup
Cons
  • Difficulty with set up and installation
