Needed a new set of pots and pans. After giving our newest set to my stepson and DIL, I took my time choosing this set. I wanted the set to match the color scheme we were aiming for and be of good quality. This set definitely fits. I chose grey, it's one of the main colors I use. Not only is the color my favorite, but the texture of the lining of the pots adds to their appeal. This set contains 12 items. 1.5 liter pot with lid 3.4 liter Dutch oven with lid 2 liter pot with lid 11 inch large skillet 9.5 inch medium skillet 8 inch small skillet soup ladle pan pasta fork Although the cookware is beautiful and functional I have a lot of these and I'd rather see a 5 or 6 liter pot in their place. Pots and pans do not burn and have 5 layers. So not only do they look beautiful, but they also distribute heat evenly and also have a thermal relay that won't burn them. There's nothing worse than paying good money for pots and pans that will show scorch marks in a few weeks. They didn't and we used a few of them. The handles feel cooler when cooking. I have sensitive hands and I can lift them without gloves or silicone grips. Of course, if I use one in the oven, I have to use oven mitts. The lids are made of tempered glass and have ventilation holes to allow steam to escape. They can be used in temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and on any cooking surface. Not 100% sure. if they can be washed in the dishwasher. I'm sure, but we still don't wash pots and pans in the dishwasher. So far I'm impressed with Nutrichef pots and pans and will look for other suitable items.
