I had some issues that other reviewers mentioned, particularly with joysticks changing direction or getting stuck in one direction, but nothing that rendered the controller unusable. But recently something *crazy* started. When I play Mario Kart 8 it plays as if the A button is constantly held down. I can still navigate the menu normally, but it gets faster if I don't touch anything while racing. You tend to hold this button down a lot, but the side effect is that it ruins acceleration early in a race and always gives you a stalled engine to start. I was curious if this happens in other games as well, so I turned New Mario Bros U down a lot in gameplay, but when it gets held up to you, the game becomes unplayable. In this game you can change the layout of the buttons so I changed it so that the Dash button is now the X or Y button and the B button is now the jump button along with the A button The X button or Y button was held down Just like a script is written in the controller for certain games to send certain commands automatically. It makes no sense. I've tested other games like Assassin's Creed and they work fine. But what's really wild is that this problem has only just begun. I had the controller a week before it did this. I played with Mario *yesterday* and it didn't happen. I haven't updated anything, it's not even connected to the internet. I have no idea what's going on, but it renders the controller unusable, at least for some games.
