Review on πŸ”¦ Tooluxe 40420L Wireless Soldering Spotlight by Nick Andep

excellent iron for the Dier. takes skill to get a good joint.

worthy of iron and pleasant to the touch. It's not very strong and I've found that a wet sponge doesn't really work because it cools too quickly and doesn't allow you to clean it properly. You must use a metal sponge cleaner to keep the tip clean. Also, it's very easy to get a cold solder joint with it, which is why my work told me I can't use it. I would never let cold soldering out of the workshop, but we can't risk it. for a general dier it would be good. I tried it because sometimes I have to solder in unsafe positions, like upside down on the floor in the middle of a shop. and I felt that in situations like this it would be a good idea not to rip out the extension cord and put on a professional iron. and it's definitely great for that. but when quality is key, this thing hits or misses. It's made a lot of great joints, but it won't replace quality iron. I bring it home and use it in my garage from time to time when I can't get things done at work. This iron is great, but only for craftsmen. although I am ranked as the best solderer in my entire workshop and it was difficult at times to get a decent connection. definitely requires skill to use effectively.
