Review on πŸ”Š Marboo USB-Powered Soundbar Speakers for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC - Black (USB) by Tom Motko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive speaker but LED backlight won't turn off

I purchased this product because I needed a speaker for my computer that was louder than my monitor's native speaker. I saw in some reviews that there is a volume control and the blue light can be turned off. They must have redesigned the soundbar since these reviews were written as the unit I received has no controls to speak of. There's no headphone jack, no volume control, no auxiliary chord, and no option to turn off the blue light. Just a short USB cable coming from the back, that's all. And when I say short, I mean so short that I had to buy a USB extension cable to get to my computer, which is on the floor and next to my desk. So if the device you're trying to connect it to isn't close enough to the speaker, the chord will be too short. These issues are pretty minor given the price, but the only annoyance that I think deserves criticism, even considering the price, is that when I turn off the computer, the blue light stays on as long as it's on the back of mine connected. personal computer That means if I don't want the light to stay on after turning off the computer, I have to reach for the back of the computer to turn it off every time. This product fits much better if you use it for a laptop as you don't expect it to be too far off the chord and you can easily plug and unplug it after each use. As for desktops, if your computer is near the speaker and you don't mind the blue light never going out, I'd say it's definitely worth getting. I have no problems with the sound and it's quite loud. The sound quality isn't impressive, but it's in line with what can reasonably be expected for the price.
