Very Good Budget Conscious Tricks

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter and it was a big hit. I'll go through six tricks and give my opinion on them.1. King to Queen - Turns a King into a Queen when you turn over a large card. You have to be careful with this to maintain the illusion, but it's a nice simple but effective trick. Zig-Zag Numbers is perhaps the weakest of the tricks. I don't even see how that's supposed to fool anyone. One of the pieces of cardboard you put in the frame was damaged, preventing it from sliding in and out. I just ignored this trick.3. Color Changing Silk - The biggest hit of all tricks. With a little practice, your child can create a pretty pretty illusion by quickly swapping out red and blue scarves for green and purple ones. The Long and Short Card Illusion is a simple optical illusion that fools many adults but leaves children confused. Magic wand. This trick will be difficult for kids with small hands and a weak grip, but the wand can be used in combination with other tricks for a bit of showmanship. Rope Cutter is perhaps the most effective trick. Even my wife was embarrassed. It is also very easy for the child. These aren't very high quality tricks, but I find them very good as an introduction to magic. Zig-Zag Numbers is an unfortunate group, but Rope Cutter and Color-Changing Silk are worth the price of admission.
