The dress is exactly as pictured. It’s well-made and breathable. The fabric is 100% cotton, so it wrinkles pretty easily as expected. The fit is loose and relaxed.My wife is pretty thin and didn’t like the plain, baggy look of this dress, so she usually pairs it up with a belt or layers it with a scarf to make it look more interesting. A fun purse and/or shoes would also bring this dress to a whole new level. Small details or accessories make a huge difference in how it looks.Hand-wash is recommended for this dress; however, since it’s made of cotton, we threw it in the machine wash at least once and it survived. It didn’t shrink or lose color.Overall, it’s a comfortable dress. The only negative feedback from my wife was that the stitching in the back can be slightly uncomfortable. Usually, clothes don’t have stitching running across the hips at an angle like this so it can grate against bare skin. But, overall, it’s not a small problem.
