Only time will tell how this shoe performs for me on a daily basis. However, I felt it was important to let potential buyers know that the reviewers who recommend you go up the size are absolutely correct. I wore a size 11.5 for most of my adult life and only bought a 12 when I came across brands that worked on the small side. After reading the reviews I immediately ordered a size 12. Well, even they were too tight. There are no half sizes larger than a 12 so I changed the first pair to a size 13. Much better. snug but with some toe room. I've never worn a size 13 but I'm glad I don't have to send a second pair back for a refund. My interest in this shoe wasn't just because of a new job that requires long hours on my feet. but also my history with plantar fasciitis. Thanks to Ortahil, this is a short story. I practically live in flip flops indoors; this combined with daily stretching of the calf muscles not only erased the pain but also completely prevented its recurrence. Will be updated if there are any performance/longevity issues.
