Not suitable for dark skin
I'm mixed race and have tan skin. If the nose piercing doesn't press directly against the skin and the face oil can absorb the whiteness, that nose ring will end up looking like a piece of dead skin. In fact my friend stopped mid sentence and asked if it was dead skin as he was slightly drunk at the time. Sorry, just searched for a photo, searched for an image, didn't find anything new.
