I received these in navy to wear on the 4th of July and I usually wear a medium size over my swimsuit and a large size under my swimsuit (I'm almost 5ft 10" and have an athletic build). I ordered a medium which actually fit my bottoms well, but the top was a bit tight. It worked, but if you have a large chest I would order the next size up for comfort.
