Review on 🧀 Westmark 29272260 Gallant Cheese Slicer - Special Red/Black Edition, One Size by Melissa Parker

The food slicer itself is solidly made and a good size. The weak point is the cutting wire and how it is attached. The wire will stretch slightly with use. There has to be a way to tighten it up. If it breaks what happens it needs to be replaced. Two spare wires are in a thin paper holder. There is no mark on the paper holder and I can understand if people can throw it away with the box. There are 3 installation drawings on this paper showing how to install the new cable. They are very inadequate and have no written instructions to help. I went to the Westmark website and found that there was a complete lack of further instructions or videos of the procedure. I have written to Westmark for more detailed instructions. If necessary, I will find out for myself, but the lack of instructions does not allow me to recommend it or buy another. I want quality and will pay for it because quality usually costs less in the long run. Good quality includes the product, but also the support.
