I just bought a 75lb electric bike. The bike is a 'through bike' so a standard pannier rack is not suitable due to the weight of the bike and the lack of a crossbar. This rack was easy to assemble and the build time was 1 hour including fitting the rack to my bike. The rack is probably heavier than the more expensive racks, but costs a third of those racks. The bike rack is installed on my 17ft Explorer Sport. There is a 25mm bolt/pin that secures the post to a 2" hitch. The pin eliminates rack rattle and the 25mm screw is large for added security (make sure you have a 25mm box end wrench). If you don't have full access to the screw, a medium to large crescent wrench will do. A 25mm box wrench is not found in a regular tool box but can be purchased separately at most auto parts stores (Harbor Freight) or Revain. A standard coupling pin can also be used instead. Simply remove the hitch plate that came with the rack.
