I have tried this humidifier both in the living room on the bedside table and by the bed on the bedside table next to my head while I sleep. This 5 liter VAVSEA humidifier is by far the quietest unit that still puts out the water vapor you need when you're indoors all winter. I love the little remote that controls all functions at the touch of a button! A big bonus for people who want it on their bedside table is the ability to turn off the blue light with the machine and/or remote control to darken their room and still get the same near-silent humidifier effect. As a shift worker, I love having this humidifier that provides the comfort I need while also being able to turn lights on/off, control humidity and water vapor levels with the machine and/or remote control so my wife and my wife me feel comfortable with our breakup attitudes. I don't usually go that far, but to be honest, this is the moisturizer you need!
