I do laundry with the air vent holder for my iPhone 7Plus, but have never been satisfied with it. When I upgraded to the 13Pro Max I decided to replace the mount with the dashboard. I was a bit skeptical but after a week of use I have no more doubts. Initially, I installed it in the spot that seemed best to me, but it turned out to be moving about an inch. It shouldn't be difficult to remove the adhesive from the disc, right? Wrong, I couldn't remove it without using tools. I had to use very thin solid wire and saw through a lot of it to get it high enough to put a plastic pry bar underneath to lift it. I don't think the base will ever fall off. I would like to know what kind of tape they use because it's amazing. Now to the suction system. It was again difficult to solve after a few days. This is the stickiest suction cup I've ever come across. I didn't need to use the included reflective tape as the Tech 21's case is glossy enough on its own. The motorized arms work well and hold the phone firmly. The device loads through the case with no issues and I'm happy with that. The only thing that bothers me is the motorized handles. I hope they put the prototype device through over 10,000 open and close cycles to prove its durability. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. And good that you can use the ventilation again!
