Between my review and my photos I have tried to cover as much detail as possible. I bought an X-small towel thinking it would be close to facial tissue size, I was wrong. It was about the size of the towel, which actually worked better for what I was planning to scale down for a future motorcycle ride. When the package arrived the towel was in the box you keep it in and normally nothing is returned in the box it came in. Well I was able to put it back in the box 4 times and that was after the creases went away. I tested this at home first and used it to dry after a shower - it was a little rough when wiping so I wiped it down, worked great and dried in 10 minutes (80 degrees in the bathroom with 70% humidity outside and the window was open ). I took this campsite and usually when my family goes camping everyone brings a facial tissue, but this time my daughter also bought a big bath towel for swimming. I only had this towel in my hiking gear and it was used to dry my hands after washing them and wiping my face and sweat off me throughout the trip - the time to dry hands and face was about 5 minutes, the sweat dried within minutes . Note: after 3 uses it wasn't that rough and I was able to dry my hands instead of patting them but still had to stroke my face. My daughter went swimming and used her house towel to dry off, but because of her hair, she couldn't dry her hair enough, her towel was wet. So me and my daughter who used this to blow dry her hair after a hike and completely submerged her head under the water station (my hair is a little below my shoulders and hers is 1/2 the length of her back). We used this towel like you would normally dry your hair and this towel just soaks up the water. I was surprised at how dry our hair was and was impressed that I didn't have to curl it. I noticed there was still some black ash on the towel after using it on my hands and it didn't smear through our hair so I decided to hand wash it in the sink. This towel has been cleaned very well and was still very absorbent. I hung it on a loop to dry and it took a little longer as the temperature dropped to 55 degrees but when we woke up in the morning the towel was completely dry unlike the wet towel she had brought from home. I would add that our campsite was fully shaded with very little direct sunlight as we hung out 2 towels to dry after it was around 6pm (in August) when we hung them up. I was very happy with the performance of this towel and the space I saved in my backpack because even though it was larger than a facial tissue, it still took up less than half the space of a facial tissue. Other features I liked: There is a loop on the bag that I could attach a clip to to hang from the outside of the pack. The case was flexible enough to turn inside out for cleaning. Duel Lightning - Great when one of them fails. When it's in use you can see where it's still wet/wet and where not - that's a definite plus. I will buy more but I might take 1 more size to shrink the other 2 backpacks my family has when taking bath towels.
