I am amazed to see a product so poorly constructed that not only does it prevent you from opening your computer once it is properly installed, it also prevents your tools and Physically damaged your screen. Under no circumstances can this product replace the double-sided adhesive tape for which the computer was designed. The original glue has a less dense foam core that is easily cut with a guitar pick or similar tool to remove a rotating screen and then the glue loosens in one motion, peeling off both sides. This product is too strong, rolls into a foamy, resinous mass and shatters the thin glass around the perimeter of the screen, a broken $400 part.
