The shorts have good stretch which makes them very comfortable on the bike. Although I did notice that the elastic around the waist isn't very strong. A few things in his pockets, like keys and a purse, start pulling down his shorts. Finally, there are 2 belt loops on the front but none on the back, making it impossible to wear a belt. I'm not a fan of rubber bands as it creates an awkward crease in the front when you pull it tight. In my opinion they should have added more belt loops so you can wear the belt if you want.
