Depending on your taste, the sheer size and strobe-like light light effects of this product may not be ideal. I wasn't expecting the pumpkin element to be quite as plump as it is. And the interior lights (which can't be turned off, and show wires within the body) are a little too rave-like for my liking. Another negative for me is the instruction set, which is 1 page of word-only steps (wildly incomplete and cryptic). So you'll likely be eyeballing this assembly.Luckily, assembly only looks more complicated than it actually is (put the filled water bags in, let it inflate, secure the bottom with the plastic stakes, then rope the middle to the metal stakes). And you're definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck here, considering the immense size of this $26 product, as well as its solid design. Additionally, the fan doesn't make much noise, which is a nice change of pace.This item looks every bit as cartoonishly cute in person as it does in the photos. And, at the low list price, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the look, and doesn't mind flashing lights. My only word of caution would be to consider that the 4.3-foot width is the same on all sides of the pumpkin, so make sure you've plenty of space for this thing to grow wherever you place it.
