They are functional. You work "well enough". Given the price, you can't go wrong. The fabric is a little thick but stretches well. It is not as soft as higher quality items. On the plus side, they are opaque, an important feature of yoga pants. No one wants to flaunt their downward facing dog. They are high waisted and "hold you tight". They also have pockets! Why only four stars? Because they aren't as good as some of the more expensive yoga pants I buy. They are too tight in the waist and calves. They are the right size, just not well cut. They form clumps where no clumps actually exist. All in all, this is a great purchase. They look amazing under sweaters and paired with boots. As a professional yoga teacher (I've been teaching for over 10 years and own a yoga studio) they don't quite fit the bill. I'm 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh 125 pounds. I bought the medium in all three pairs.
