healed my dog's badly cracked jaws in a few days

I bought this to treat my dog's cracked jaw/lips. that he had several cracks in the corners of his great shepherd's mouth, some severely cracked, like an open blister. It was even slightly contaminated. It was hard to see. I first cleaned it and applied a cannabis extract based dog ointment designed for canine skin problems. This ointment has previously worked on all hot spots on his skin, locks in moisture well, is non-toxic and is safe to lick off. However, this didn't work very well for his teeth as they are very moist and difficult to manage in this area. I found this product through research on the internet. This is a German baby cream. It is manufactured in Germany by the Johnson & Johnson Corporation. I think they bought it from the original German manufacturers. My wife said it smelled like Nivea. I found it to have a very pleasant smell. In fact, this is a German baby cream. All the inscriptions on the bench are in German, and this is where my German specialization finally came in handy. It's said to treat skin irritation, lock in moisture, and is also good for kids as it provides a "visible" layer of protection. This visible part is important because I can see that the white cream is still on my dog after about an hour, I know he won't lick it off. The picture shows what it looks like with the cream applied and how it stays for at least a couple of hours. It does a very good job of treating the torn part and providing a protective layer of petroleum jelly on the torn part itself. My dog barely licked it the first time I put it on but after that he never licked it again. It was good because after one use it stayed there for most of the day. It seemed to him that this calmed the problem. After a few days, his jaw stopped clicking. I was concerned that he had swallowed the cream, although I don't think the ingredients in the cream would be harmful in very small amounts. I'll probably have to use it again if it flares up, but very pleased so far and I'll report on interesting developments. Ingredients: Petroleum, Zinc Oxide, Lanolin, Talc, Panthenol, Witch Hazel Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Witch Hazel Water, Allantoin, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Liquid Paraffin, Helianthus Annus Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Alcohol, Perfume, CI 40800
