This bench was very easy to assemble and came with very clear instructions. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a little less sturdy than we expected. The kids, including the teens can sit on it with no issues/concerns of it breaking. However, adults should be cautious because it is not make of very high quality wood. Again, the quality is really good as far as looks and workmanship it just isn't going to hold heavy adults through repeated use. Also, pay attention to the measurements, it was slightly longer than the wall we put it on but it still looks great
