Review on Universal Bike Shifter Cable Housing Kit for Shimano Sram MTB Road Bicycles – Dymoece Derailleur Cable Hose by Robert Dickinson

My shift cable on my giant hybrid bike has exploded - the cable sheath on the twist shift knob has fallen apart. I just watched a video on YouTube and figured out what type of shifter cable I should buy. This was a better quality rolled type, not the cheaper one-piece version. The product was perfect, easy to cut and adjust. I didn't have expensive wire cutters so I used my dremel to cut the outer case and then used a sanding attachment to sand down the bushing. I have a pair of regular wire cutters and they cut through the internal cable with no problem. I did the whole job in about 15 minutes, the bike shifted perfectly without any fine tuning. Maybe it was luck, but everything went smoothly. So my goodness, I highly recommend this cable!
