Works but requires the purchase of a separate power supply

Device as in the picture. It reads 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives with no problems. I give it three stars because they don't include a power adapter for use with 3.5" drives. The adapter is affordable, but I would pay a little more and find an adapter that comes with the power adapter. It just adds another layer of frustration when you need to look for a 12V 2A power adapter and the power adapter adapter pin size doesn't fit the standard head. Buy a separate power supply with different tips just to make sure I get the correct pen size as the first power supply I bought didn't fit the adapter (https://www.amazon.com/). gp/product/B01N2K48HR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)Will NOT buy from this seller again.
