I used this product on my almost new BMW 520i with about 5000 km. I read about the benefits of engine protection as I want to keep it in good condition for as long as possible. I did not change the engine oil according to the instructions because the engine oil is still new and an oil change will not be necessary. Follow the instructions by warming up the engine, shaking the bottle, and then inserting the bottle. I drove home about 15 minutes. Knowing this is a new engine, I didn't expect huge performance gains from an engine restorer. I did notice an improvement in acceleration though, it felt a little quicker and how power was being transferred from the engine to the wheels. The ride feels "harder" overall, including the difference I hear in the engine sound. I highly recommend this product, it definitely works with BMW engines.
