I had a rounded tab on my pendant. Passed a trailer pre-inspection before a long trip and found a damaged primer. I've tried other wrenches and banged their heads against the eyelet, damaging the eyelet even more. I decided to give Rocket Socket a try based on YouTube reviews and the fact that it's made in the USA. The first time I tried it, I just pushed it with my hand. It grabbed the outer shell of the cleat, which then simply rotated without loosening the cleat. On my second try, I hit the Rocket Socket, which hooked the tab better. The foot came off immediately with no problems. I used the punch that came with the rocket socket to knock the tab out of the socket. He grabbed the ear really hard but came right out with one punch. I will always have one of these rocket sockets in my emergency tool kit. Rounded lugs are common as all tire centers use heavy duty impact wrenches to mount tires. I was lucky I found my rounded edge somewhere on the side of the road in the pre-test verses. A set of squeegee attachments can be very expensive. This Rocket Socket did its job perfectly, is made in the USA and is well priced. I like it.
