Overview: While searching the internet for a large collection of games at a good price, I came across MYMIQEY Pandora Treasure 3D. The system feels well built (similar to others), the buttons work smoothly and the joysticks work with little to no lag (more on that in a moment). At first glance the system looks good, but like crazy I had a lot of sticky/plastic cords on the sides and inside. When I first bought it, I emailed the company with a list of games and asked about button options (I want to change them to other colors). They told me that opening it doesn't void the warranty, I suspect you're moving or playing around with things (you have to open to add games). They sent me a list of games in a "readable" PDF format, although one of my computers is having trouble reading it. Of the 2k+2D games, more than half are Asian games (which is normal, but many don't have English writing), this problem makes in-game tracking/selecting difficult. They give you everything you need to connect your device to your TV (I recommend replacing your HDMI cable with a better one), and depending on where your outlet is, you may need an extension cord. They also offer a VGA cable, although I don't use that output anymore so I don't have anything to test. The system has 1 speaker and the sound quality is good and loud, a little tinny but that's to be expected for this device (I disabled it and am using my TV's soundbar). Loading time is about 35 seconds to the menu, looks like it's some sort of Android OS. The first thing I did before hooking it up was to inspect the inside (see Hardware). To do this you need to remove the 3 small Phillips screws on the back and then lift off the top (it's that easy!) Hardware: It appears to be a Raspberry Pi style board with a CPU/GPU chip soldered on. This main chip has a fan/heatsink, but it appears to be glued to the board and chip. This glue was all over mine so I'm guessing it's hot glue, I'm not sure how it handles the system heat but since the interior is so big I can't imagine it generating that much heat. The following connections are soldered on the back: HDMI, VGA, 3.5 m line-out, two USB (2.0) serial ports. On the front of the board there is a mini USB port and an SD card slot. You can download more games on this SD slot. The buttons are plastic with two plastic clips underneath that hold the spring ring. They run smoothly and fulfill the expected hours of play. Below the joystick you can see a plastic ring, not a metal ring, but I haven't taken it apart to see where it has metal and what the function of the movement is. However, the joystick works well and has a nice clicking sound, just like in a real arcade game. The stems are plastic or composite as my magnet didn't stick to them and the grip head is plastic with no sharp edges like I've felt on other joysticks. If you are such a person, then this attitude will suit you. There is a RED button on the back that lights up for power (just toggle the toggle switch on). The settings button is labeled GFC or something, which allows you to use the OS menu settings (limited, but see OS). And a rocker/scroll switch for volume up/down. This volume switch was solid, which could be a good thing as it might wear out, or bad as it might already be sticking. I really won't be using it now that it's powered off, so its lifespan is irrelevant to me. OS/Menu: When loaded, this thing takes less than 40 seconds to get to the loading screen (or main menu). This menu is VERY BRILLIANT which is one of my biggest downsides compared to my mate's Pandora Box 6. Here you have 3 options to choose from. Option 1 3D games (10 of them), Option 2 2D games, 2000+ of them with lots of replays and Asian games (still a large number) and finally Option 3 are the games you played recently (that's good ). but there is NO way to set a PIN in-game, which means you have to search and remember. Pressing the settings button on the main screen (the physical button on the back of the system) loads a very basic menu (I'm not happy with that). There is no screen size setting for all games, meaning you must choose every aspect of the rating per game. To do this, load the game, then press pause (the second player's coin button) and then choose the aspect ratio, it seems like a lot of extra work. There is also no setting for sound/music output in the settings menu. But other than that it does what it's supposed to. A useful feature is the I/O setup, which allows you to test the functionality of your hardware. This is great if you want to replace buttons or joysticks! There is a setting that allows you to stop games. I don't know what causes this as I don't want to delete all my games from the machine. Note: To exit the game you must press the Two Player Coins button. , I didn't see a way to change this in the menu. As for downloading your games to the machine, I can say it works, but check YouTube as it's not part of the original package. No ROMs or help from me, there are MANY already discussed and guides on the subject. Games load semi-fast, some load times feel long, like the first #1 Tekken 3D on the list. This is not a deal breaker as the game runs smoothly and has no interruptions during gameplay. All 2D games are tested about 200 times, work well with no issues and load a bit faster but still feel slow. Games play fast, the game coins button gives you unlimited spins, so GOOD LUCK. $) Smooth button action and easy to swap out (2 wires) Joysticks work almost as well as more expensive versions (no lag when gaming) LEDs are crisp and bright Case is clean, sleek and sits great on your lap or on a table (Don no worry about deformation or bending) Opening to modify/upgrade SD games is easy Support/customer service when purchasing GreatCon's - Joy Stick may lag when selecting games in the UI, not lag in the game The price is for the Number of games as more than half are written in Asian script. The LEDs are very bright, no dimmer in a dark room, this is distracting in the game. Overall verdict: This is a must have and I would buy it for a friend or a kids birthday party. I'm happy with mine so far, but time will tell how it holds up and performs. The emulation support is great, but the preloaded games are great too. I like to play Mega Man 1004 arcade games from the games list. 3D gaming makes it a much better buy than the BOX 6s, which despite its better menus doesn't support 3D or support it in hardware.
