Review on Nelson-Rigg Stormrider Waterproof Rain Suit for Enhanced Protection by Flavio Scarola

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No resistance to this product at all.

Bought this raincoat in Seattle. It worked fine at first, but by the time I got to Nebraska it was running down my chest, shoulders and arms. It turns out that the yellow part of the costume consists of two layers attached to each other. And when the fabric on the back and shoulders flaps in the wind, the inner layer tears. And the suit leaks where there are holes. You can see it in the photo I attached to this review. It's a shame considering the attention to detail that went into the construction of this suit. So many seams, all taped. The front zip has two layers of protection to keep it waterproof. Only fifty dollars. Since the price is so good, you'll probably ignore this review and still want to buy it. Well, if you're not going to be wearing it 350 miles a day then put it in your pack and don't ride when rain is forecast. This way you will only wear it a few times per season and it will serve you for several years. Also, the tears only appeared on the yellow part of the suit, maybe an all black or almost black suit would have been better. But if you're on a tour where you'll be riding whatever the weather, stay away.
