3 Years. This latest batch of bags is different! They used to hold on to eggshells and melon rinds, but not anymore. There are now tiny bumps on the bag compared to the previous smooth surface. Now I have to put it in two bags, and I'm still hoping that going outside to my big compost bin is best. I'll find a new bag after I take care of it.
