*Updated - the internal fuse blows easily but can be replaced. I can't tell if it meets its specs. We have a built in 25A fuse between the battery and the drive wheel that will not blow. This fuse blows if it runs at more than "half power" for more than a few minutes, if you will. It lasted no more than a few light applications over the course of 2 months. Bought this to convert my 2 year old son's drive bike to more efficient 20 volt power tool batteries. This simple change does little to test the limits of the speed control.
