I liked this shoe rack so much I bought another to use as a coffee table. We have some really big furniture in our living room and couldn't find the right size coffee table until I put our shoe rack in there for fun and we fell in love with it! Color and size are perfect. We only used the top and bottom shelves and left the middle one open to make it look more like a coffee table. We left the second shoe rack in the garage and it easily holds 9 pairs of shoes and anything else you might want to put on it. One of the shelves had a hole in it, but the seller was easy to reach and fix the problem. When assembling, make sure you don't fully tighten the screws until you have everything together, or you'll scratch it when you install the extra shelf.
