My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a W5A580 (NAG1) transmission has a "Dealer Use Only" cover where the dipstick is normally placed to measure the transmission level. FYI, you have to use pliers to remove it by twisting it counterclockwise. I love that this kit comes with a replacement cap as my original cap is a bit scratched now and I suspect the cap in this kit doesn't need pliers to remove or reattach (haven't tried it yet). After reading various posts online about changing transmission oil/filter in NAG1 I decided to make my own dipstick using zip ties. I joined three 14" zippers together and marked the ends 5mm apart. That is not good for me. I got different readings every time. stuck to the walls of the tube and then the sides of the zipper making it hard to see where the actual line was. I squeezed it harder after touching the pan and it kinked a bit, giving inaccurate readings. It does not fully fit and is not intended to be left in the car (hence separate cover). This product helped me. to be much more sure that the gear oil level is correct.
