Product was purchased for Dyson Animal DC41. What you need to know is that if this latest version differs from the original part, a #15 4" torx wrench will be required to disassemble the canister and install the bottom bracket. The top bracket is easy to install, except by removing the Canister need to snap in. a vacuum cleaner. Be prepared to file off excess plastic material from the top bracket as there is insufficient clearance between the bracket and the vacuum cleaner cover. As Dyson only sells the full canister and not just a part this option is better than nothing. It doesn't seem to have to. Have to fiddle around to swap out the button latch, that's just my opinion.
