The star was a very good size. However, it is plastic and proved too heavy for the top of our tree. Even with a few vertical branches stacked on top of each other, the star pulled them around and "floated" to the top of the tree. The star is assembled with 48 plastic rivets which were clearly visible once attached. Also, the bulb will be inserted into the star when assembly is partially complete. The rest of the star is then riveted around it. Should the bulb ever need to be replaced, it is not accessible. Unfortunately it cannot be returned as it is fully assembled / cannot be returned in its packaging.
