I wanted to add this to my JEEP Wrangler so I can charge it without the popping noise that always comes up. I do a lot of short trips and sometimes my car sits for days with no traffic because of a roadblock. The alternator normally charges the battery but sometimes does not have enough run time to fully charge the battery, especially when left unused for a long period of time. I bought a charger and it reduced the starting problems. The only problem was that the battery latches were difficult to put on and I often found them bouncing off overnight. So I decided to buy these quick disconnects to match my charger. They work very well and I had no problems starting my JEEP.
